Jocelyn brings a complement of traditional and digital media experience to ICON International. Following her National Broadcast TV background, she has been at the forefront of the Internet since its commercial inception, holding a broad range of positions on both the vendor and agency sides.
She began her career as a National Broadcast Buyer for Saatchi & Saatchi Advertising Worldwide where she managed Cable and Network Television buying for agency clients including Toyota, Lexus, Florida Department of Citrus, and Little Caesars Pizza. Jocelyn then moved to the Media side joining the Cross Platform Advertising Sales team at The Nashville Network, Country America Magazine and The Nashville record Review.
Her interactive career began in 1995 when she joined Modem Media, one of the oldest new media full service ad agencies as its Media Director. She was responsible for over $16 million of digital media expenditures for clients such as AT&T, Delta Airlines, John Hancock, JCPenney and Kraft Foods. She then moved to the Online Publisher side of digital media, holding Business Development and Strategic Partnerships posts at Dejanews.com (later sold to Google) and Women.com. As VP Consulting Services, she then founded and led the Consulting Department at Phase2Media to profitability where her projects included working with several traditional and new media businesses to: develop online business models and product offerings, diversify publisher revenue streams and perform competitive analyses and benchmarking. Her clients included Prodigy DSL Consumer Services, Qwest, Reuters, AT&T and Showtime Networks.
Jocelyn returned to the interactive agency side as SVP, Integrated Media for Grey Advertising's Beyond Interactive where she was the executive lead for their largest client, Cendant. She managed a team of 18 Media Buying, Account Management, Cross-Platform Planning and Optimization / Data Analysis personnel responsible for $60MM+ in expenditure across 8 business units and all media platforms with a heavy emphasis in Online. From there, she joined ValueClick media to launch a new performance-based advertising network and develop ROI and DR focused media opportunities.
Prior to joining ICON full time as Senior Vice President, Online Media she Consulted for Claria, a West Coast based online technology company specialized in the Behavioral Targeting of online advertising to consumers and Coupons.com, the premiere digital FSI platform and product enabling online Coupons for traditional packaged goods clients.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Vermont and volunteers with the Central Park Conservancy and the Church of the Holy Trinity Soup Kitchen, both in Manhattan.
